How to download and install the MT5 platform on Windows devices.

The MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform can be installed on many different devices and operating systems.

This tutorial will focus on downloading and installing the MT5 on your Windows device.

To download the MT5:

  1. Visit our website, hover your mouse over Services, and click on MetaTrader 5. Or you can click here instead.

  2. Scroll down until you see Download MT5 for your favorite device.

  3. Click on Windows. This will automatically download the application to your computer.

To Install the MT5:

  1. Click on the installation file that appears on the taskbar on your screen (you can also find the installation file in your downloads folder).

  2. If asked to allow the app to make changes to your device, click Yes

  3. Review the End-user license agreement, and click Next

  4. The installation will begin automatically.

💡Tip

If you do not wish to install MetaTrader 5 on your device, you can always log in to our WebTerminal from your browser.
