How to download and install the MT5 platform on macOS devices.

The MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform can be installed on many different devices and operating systems.

This tutorial will focus on downloading and installing the MT5 on your macOS computer.

To use the MT5 on your macOS device, you must first download and install Wine if not already available on your device. Wine is a software that allows windows applications to run on non-windows operating systems.

To download and install the MT5:

  1. Visit our website, hover your mouse over Services, and click on MetaTrader 5. Or you can click here instead.

  2. Scroll down until you see Download MT5 for your favorite device.

  3. Click on MacOS.

  4. Click on the download the ready-made package from the official website link.

  5. Drag the platform icon to applications and wait for the installation to complete.
